This book right here will have you second-guessing everything. We are told on the cover that it's just a game.
IT'S JUST A GAME.
It's almost like that game that says 'The Cake is a Lie.'
For the life of me, I couldn't...I couldn't understand the choices of the main character. She annoyed me to Kingdom come. It's as though she had all the information she needed and then said to herself, 'let's do it for the plot.'
Premise:
On a magical island, you can compete with other contenders to become the winner and be granted a wish. Two sisters, Scarlett and Tella desperately want to leave the isle that they live on for many reasons, but mainly to escape the grasp of their father.
You can't really tell, but this book frustrated me.

Between the main character Scarlett getting on my nerves and constantly reminding me about her sister and how much she loves her. Tella grinding my gears, the main guy who I can't even remember his name of, but him having nothing to do with the main plot after being hyped so much.
Take me out of this.
This book could've been outstanding. All the ingredients were there!
Let me know if I am overreacting, because I could be.
This book is a 5/10
