Picture This:
A gentle breeze enters from west, caressing the fine hairs on your forearm. As you smell the fresh air of your local park, you think to yourself, 'I could read a book, let me see what is the newest BookTok craze.' You doom scroll for 45 seconds until you come across a series which has been roughly recommended in the comments. You think to yourself, what could be so different from all the other books you have ever read, and then you turn the first page.
Immersed in a world of which a group of young women are abducted from the comfort of their own homes and put on an alien spaceship, you will start to wonder why you started this book.
The alien ship that is transporting them malfunctions and dumps them on an unknown planet to which the women have to fight for themselves. We follow the main character Georgie as she explores the planet to find help, in which she stumbles into Vektal an Avatarish character.
In other words, this is Avatar porn.
I didn't have many expectations about this book series (yes I ended up reading about 6 books). What I can say is that I enjoyed them! In all honesty, the writing of the first book was choppy, and I did end up skipping parts that weren't of interest to me or to the story. It was an easy read with no real plot, but it is enough to keep you reading. I wouldn't say that I would recommend this book for others to read as a critically acclaimed series, but it does stand in it's own arena.
